  1. So am I. In the meantime, it's fun to speculate on what's behind a title. Norilana is an interesting small press, so be sure to visit the site, as you'll see books by authors you know and love, as well as surprises.

Btw, you are doing a superb job with your picks every week, your business "(i.e. busy, busy, busy; time to bring out the time machine)" making it possible for your followers' laziness. And I hope you'll keep up your trenchant weekly essay. The latest, Support Our 'Zines Day makes a great point.

  2. Yup, Vera is a friend and one of the publishers who sent me ARCs when I was just starting out, so Norilana has a special place in my heart.

    And thanks!

  3. Thanks for your kind comments, Anna and Charles! You guys are both awesome, and Anna, I am thrilled to have your truly wonderful story in the book -- it makes me think of delicate Victorian porcelain, so lovely, and yet so resolute and quietly powerful!

  4. It's a treat to see your Contents list in the book, Vera. Being in an anthology is like being invited to birthday party. The anticipation is part of the pleasure, and the other guests are part of what can make the experience special. The seating arrangements are also part of the pleasure, so thank you, Vera, for the enjoyment you give to us guests.
